Film submissions for the 31st Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) is now ready on the festival website!
(Submission period: April 13-July 13, 2018)

As one of the leading film festivals in Asia, TIFF is proud to show many outstanding films created by up-and-coming directors, as well as premieres of works by prestigious filmmakers from around the world.

In 2017, we were honored to receive 1,538 submissions from 88 countries and regions for our Competition section. Fifteen excellent films were screened and Grain (Turkey/Germany/France/Sweden/Qatar) directed by Semih Kaplanoğlu won the Tokyo Grand Prix.

TIFF looks forward to an even larger number of submissions from around the world this year.

The 31st TIFF will take place October 25-November 3, 2018 for 10 days in Tokyo, JAPAN.
