This is UNIJAPAN's new project is initiated in year 2006 under the auspice of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
The program supports Japanese film producers, who aim at International co-production, to participated in major film markets including Cannes, Berlin and Hong Kong. Through J-Pitch, the Japanese film producers are introduced to overseas film producers and are given an opportunity to participated in diverse exchange meetings.
The overall aim of the program is: to identify and develop film projects that could be completed as international co-productions or which have a high possibility of success in the international film market; to foster an exchange of ideas and projects between Japanese producers and their counterparts in other parts of the world; to build relationships with experienced international producers, who could act as consultants for
the projects and for the building of links with established
producers training programs in other parts of the world.
