UNIJAPAN provides grants and subsidies for Japanese films and Japanese filmmakers attending International Film Festivals and Film Markets.

UNIJAPAN supports the setting up of Japanese film promotional stand to present recent trends of Japanese cinema and to further promote the overseas sales of Japanese films.
Research and Networking Project
To provide Japanese film professionals with information on film industry overseas, UNIJAPAN sends out a bi-weekly UniJapan newsletter and regularly carries out researches on international film industry schemes.
Publications & Database
To forster the promotion of Japanese films, UNIJAPAN manages Japanese film websites (unijapan.org and JFDB), publishes a yearbook 'Japanese Film' and distributes a twice-a-year catalogue of new Japanese cinema 'New Cinema from Japan'.
