In cooperation with Kinema Junpo Film Institute and as a part of Research Project of Support Program for International Co-production 'J-Pitch' supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, UNIJAPAN has published the first English version of 'The Guide to Japanese Film Industry and Co-Production'. The guide is made with an aim to serve as an introduction tool for furthering the understanding of the work and condition of Japanese film market and the opportunities it provides for the international co-productions. It gives the general information and guidelines considered necessary for the overseas filmmakers interested in co-productions with Japan.

The guide will be distributed to overseas film supporting agencies and public bodies and will be available for everyone intrested in co-producing with Japan at Japan booth held at major international film festivals and film markets all through the year 2009.
