San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF) presented by the Center for Asian America Media has annouced Call for Entry 2009! The SFIAAFF is USA's largest showcase dedicated to screening Asia-American and Asia films, annually presenting approximately 130 works in San Francisco, Berkeley and San Jose. Since 1982, the SFIAAFF has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers as well as a vital source for new Asia cinema. The 2008 Festival drew an attendance of over 30,000 including more than 200 filmmakers and industry guests.

The SFIAAFF accepts films and videos that are made by or about Asian Americans and Asians of any nationality! All lengths and genres considered!

Early deadline - Sep. 5th 2008.

Late deadline - Oct. 3rd, 2008.
