The PIA Film Festival aims at the discovery and nurturing of new filmmakers. Main program is the PFF Award which is the competition of independent movies. Today this festival is recognized as the place of collecting the new and young talents.

Requirements

・Ship the movie by miniDV or VHS if it is a video (Do not send the DVD.)
・The films that have been commercially released are not eligible.

Format

Films entered from overseas are accepted on videotape (VHS) or mini-DV format. It is preferable that you convert the videotape to make it compatible with the NTSC system. Otherwise, please indicate whether the film is in PAL or SECAM system.

Subtitles

For films in a foreign language other than Japanese, a synopsis in Japanese or English must accompany the film.
